Our vision is to build a world where adults with disabilities can discover, develop, and tell their stories.
what do we offer?
Story Ranch, located in the town of Monument, CO, serves as a multifaceted program for adults with I/DD.
Through overnight respite weekends and supported employment at Rocky Mountain Soap Market, we help individuals develop their skills and grow in independence.
our location
Story Ranch has two sites in northern Colorado Springs where we provide overnight weekend respite camps and weekday social activities.
East Campus
Our East Campus, located in Black Forest at the Feltman Ranch, offers an ideal environment for barn activities, gardening, and hiking.
West Campus
Our West Campus, also located in northern Colorado Springs, offers more indoor activities, including painting and cooking classes, games, and social activities.
our founders
Story Ranch has been a longtime dream for Colorado Springs couple Tony and Beth Feltman, both of whom have siblings with I/DD.
Tony’s brother, Brian, who now lives in a group home in North Dakota, has autism. On the other side of the family, Beth’s sister, Kari, has lived with mild intellectual disabilities. When Tony and Beth moved Kari to Colorado Springs in 2008, the couple experienced the challenge of looking for quality services that could meet Kari’s specific needs while allowing her to exercise her unique abilities.
Today, Tony and Beth wish to give voice to many others like their siblings, Brian and Kari. It is their dream that Story Ranch will provide social activities, day programming, and consistent jobs to many people in the Colorado Springs community who may benefit from adaptive services.
